LANDING SITE SELECTION

In the meantime... here's a link to a PDF document with the latest suggestions from the science community for MSL landing sites. Landing on Mars is tricky business. The terrain must be level and smooth, the atmosphere (winds) must cooperate... most of the southern hemisphere is out, as is much of the equatorial region.
